Holmes Architecture delivered a full ground floor office fit-out for Aspeq, creating a functional, well-resolved workspace designed to support both focus and collaboration.
The brief called for a flexible environment that could cater to day-to-day operations while also providing spaces for connection, meetings and informal use. The result is a clean, modern workplace that balances practicality with a strong architectural presence.

The space is organised into a series of clearly defined zones:
Open Plan Workspace – A central desk area designed for efficiency and team connectivity, with considered spacing and flow.
Breakout Space – A relaxed zone that encourages informal interaction, quick meetings and downtime.
Kitchen Hub – Positioned as a social anchor, supporting staff use while reinforcing workplace culture.
Meeting Rooms – Enclosed spaces providing privacy for focused discussions, designed with acoustic performance in mind.
Entry & Waiting Area – A defined front-of-house that sets the tone on arrival and creates a strong first impression.
Each element has been carefully positioned to ensure intuitive movement through the space while maintaining a sense of openness.
Design Approach
The design focuses on clarity, material consistency and durability. Clean lines and a restrained palette create a cohesive environment, while practical detailing ensures the space performs under daily use.
Natural light has been maximised across the floorplate, with glazed meeting rooms allowing light to pass through while maintaining separation where needed. The result is a workplace that feels open, connected and efficient.
Outcome
This fit-out delivers a high-performing office environment that supports the way Aspeq works today, with the flexibility to adapt over time. It’s a space that works just as well in practice as it does on paper - a key principle behind every Holmes Architecture project.
